Welcome to Woodlands Park School

Woodlands Park School is situated in a beautiful bush-clad valley adjacent to Scenic Drive in the Waitakere Ranges of West Auckland. The school, with a roll of around 350 students, has an atmosphere of intimacy and care. There is a strong community feeling that identifies closely with the school, which is the focal point of Woodlands Park.

The school was established in 1958 and is surrounded by native trees and birds. Community use of the school hall, pool, playing fields and other facilities is encouraged by the management and board. Pre-enrolment enquiries and visits are welcome and we encourage you to arrange a time to come and meet Principal Dr Liz Manley, ask questions and enjoy a guided tour of the school. Entry is open to children from Year 1 to year 6.

Unique Learners Inspired for the Future

We asked the children, the staff of the school, the Board of Trustees, the parents and the local community what kind of school Woodlands Park should be. Their response was that it will be ..

... a unique school, the best, where everyone’s abilities are nurtured so they can become the inquiring innovators of tomorrow.

Mission Statement

Our school is a supportive community where family / whanau,
children and staff work together to create a happy environment
in which all are valued and each is challenged.
